So this is how I justified it to myself, I should do the daedric prince quest for the greater good, I got my character to get Dagons dagger, because if I never got it and guarded the vile weapon someone else could have reclaimed it and used it for evil, once I got the blade I put it in a chest at the bottom of a lake, I do this with all evil artifacts. But, after killing the hear the Greybeards summoning me, again the shrine is unreachable.So when I started my Warrior/Jesus build I was short of cash, and I used to really love beasting and abusing the Dremora at the shrine of Dagon, but my build is really good, I mean really really good, its been 103 hours on this build and his lifetime bounty is 0 gold thats how good he is, I had a dillema because if I wanted to loot Dagons shrine I would have to be his bitch and it would be an evil action to do. The good news are that this is related to the main quest, since a previous save before killing the Whiterun draon rendered the mehrunes dagon quest to work properly, I could access the shrine with no crash. Is there any hope on this or the save itself is broken with no solution? I just can't access the area on my current save. Is someone else having this issue after the latest patch? And is there any workaround available atm?Įdit: ok, so I loaded a previous save, yet to recover the pummel, and tried to COC mehrunesdagonshrine, unlocked the iron gate to exit the shrine then, CTD.
I tried doing and alternate way, CTD COC'd to mehrunes shrine, ending up inside no problem, then used unlock to head outside, CTD. I could keep up with him until about 300ft away from the shrine, when the game crashed, just before that bear at the bottom of the final stairway.
So I've collected all pieces of the Mehrunes razor and turn them in to Silius, who proceeded on his way to Mehrunes Dagon shrine.
